Chinese company GAC has presented three new crossovers at the Detroit auto show (Part 1)

After the pre-announcement, Chinese corporation GAC officially unveiled three new models: SUV GS7, a conceptual cross-coupe EnSpirit with soft top and an electric SUV GE3 at the Auto Show in Detroit NAIAS-2017.

As expected, the new SUV GAC GS7 is a miniature copy of GS8 model, which is already available in the Chinese market. The car has received the following dimensions: length is 4730 mm, width is 1910 mm, and height is 1770 mm. Thus, the novelty is 80 mm shorter then the vehicle GS8, its height and width are the same as in the “older” model. The size of the wheelbase is 2720 mm (-80 mm compared to GS8). Among other things, crossover GAC GS7 presented in Detroit has five seats, while GS8 has seven-seat saloon.

SUV GAC GS7 appeared at the automotive industry exhibition NAIAS-2017 with the 2.0-liter petrol turbo engine generating 201 horsepower. The motor is running in tandem with 6-speed automatic transmission. Plus, the car is equipped with all-wheel drive system. It is expected that the novelty will come to the dealers’ showrooms before the end of this year.
