Chinese presented the first Qiantu K50 Event supercar in Shanghai

Qiantu Qiche Company, the Chinese automaker introduced to the audience of Shanghai Auto Show the first in the history of the Chinese automobile industry electric supercar. The new product received the name K50 Event! The model will have two modifications – the track and road.

Supercar was created on the basis of the conceptual model Auto Event, which debuted in 2014 in Shanghai. Qiantu representatives reported that in the near future K50 Event will go into production. The racing version of the novelty received an aerodynamic body kit with diffusers on the bumpers, side skirts and rear air intakes in the wings. The road-going version has got a less aggressive design; leather trimmed interior, and the center console with the information and entertainment system with a touch screen.

The new product received rear-wheel drive system and it is powered by a 400-hp strong electric motor providing 650 N/m of torque. According to the manufacturer, the car accelerates from zero to one hundred km / h in only 5 seconds. When fully charged Qiantu K50 Event is able to cover the distance of 200 kilometers.
