Junpai CX65 model in a wagon body has made its debut in Shanghai

In China, low-cost cars in the station wagon body are gaining popularity. The Junpai CX65 was manufactured on the wave of the interest to this format of cars. The novelty has been presented at the Shanghai Auto Show.

FAW Junpai CX65 is similar to the Volkswagen Cross Lavida. It should be reminded that FAW Company and Volkswagen brand own a joint plant created in 1990 year and located in China. The dimensions of the new wagon are 4560 mm in length, 1770 mm in width and 1500 mm in tall. The carmakers have also added a plastic body kit, increased ground clearance, 17-inch wheels instead of 16-inch. The CX65 wagon model’s package will also include the standard stabilization system and the chassis presented by a semi-independent rear suspension; the carmakers say that the MIRA British engineering company was working on its development.

Under the hood of the novelty, the engineers will install the power plants that are used in Junpai A50 sedan. It will be 1.5-liter petrol atmospheric engine, which delivers 122 horsepower and a 6-speed mechanic transmission or a 1-liter turbo motor that is able to generate 119 horses. The second one will be mated to a 7-step automatic DCT.
