New compact crossover was presented in Detroit

The Chinese automotive company called GAC Motor officially presented its new GS4 SUV, which for the first time was introduced at the North American Auto Show in Detroit. GAC Company in its own press release calls the GS4 crossover as a “charged SUV” and assured that the car will be the first car in model line which was designed “according to international worldwide standards.” There is no detailed information about GS4. It is only known that the SUV will be equipped with 1.3 liter and 1.5 liter turbocharged power units. The type of drive, the type of transmission – all these details will be reported by GAC Motor later.

GAC Company presented at the same show a couple of concept cars: Windstar, and GA6 GT. Both of them will be equipped with hybrid power trains. Windstar conceptual car will be able to drive without recharging and refueling more then six kilometers with the fuel consumption not more than two liters per hundred kilometers. The information about the other prototype is not available.
