The Chinese published the official sketches of their new model that will be presented at the 2017 IAA auto show in Germany. The side mirrors and door handles indicate that this is not a concept model. The novelty is a medium-sized crossover that will take a step above the current Tiggo 7 flagship in the line-up. If to follow the Chery’s trend to number the SUVs missing one step, as an example Tiggo 3, Tiggo 5 (Tiggo 2 is an exception), it is supposed us to see the debut of Tiggo 9 crossover. According to the insiders, the novelty has the same 4587 mm length that the Qoros 5 model (seven version is shorter by 82 mm).

If it is true that Tiggo 9 is built on the CC2X platform borrowed from Qoros car, then it will receive McPherson strut in front and torsion bar at rear. After another version, the TX1 and multi-link are in the core of the car.

The exterior vision of the novelty belongs to James Hope, the chief designer, which was recently replaced by Steve Hume. And the last does not intend to break the stylistics. The central screen is supplied by a nine-step diagonal. There are buttons for engine start and seats heating. The German debut says about the possible sales of the SUV in Europe.
