HAval H8 premium crossover is built on a platform of its own design

Great Wall Haval H8 is the SUV “K2″ with front- or all-wheel drive. The debut of the pre-production version of the model was held at the Shanghai Motor Show in April 2013, and in the autumn of the same year the car was launched into production.

Haval H8 is built on a platform with the front double wishbone suspension and multi-link rear. To emphasize the quality of the off-road vehicle, the ground clearance is exposed at the level of 197 mm. As for the dimensions, the length of the H8 is 4.8 m, width – 1.97 m, height – 1.8 m. The distance between the axles – 2915 mm, curb weight – 2130 kg. The car makers of Great Wall Company say that they used the equipment purchased from the best European and Japanese companies. For example, automated stamping line was purchased from leading German manufacturer Kuka, Spanish Fagor delivered precision presses, robotic laser welding lines belong to Swiss Soutec and ABB. The equipment for the coloring was produced by the Japanese company Yaskawa, equipment for testing and quality control – German Durr.

Great Wall Haval H8 is supplied by 2.0 –liter petrol turbocharged engine with the capacity of 240 hp and 324 Nm of torque in the range from 2000 to 4000 rev / min. The engine works with a 6-speed automatic transmission that transmits traction to all four wheels. The 100 km/h can be reached in 10.6 seconds. The top speed is 180 km/h.
