Baojun E100 EV with the cheapest price mark

The JV SAIC-GM-Wuling has already delivered its first electric vehicle on the Chinese market. The novelty Baojun E100 became the smallest and cheapest model sold in China. The initial price makes 35 800 Yuan and this is including all subsidies. Before the sales the joint Company has received around 5,000 orders.

The new E100 EV has got smaller size than the old Smart Fortwo. Its dimensions are 2488 mm in length, 1506 mm in width and the 1670 mm in height, the wheelbase is equal to 1600 mm. The radius of the turn is 3.7 meters. Under the hood of the smallest city car there is installed 29 kW motor that will generate 39 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque, allowing a driver to accelerate to 100 km/h. The motor is supplied by the lithium-ion battery that provides 155 km driving distance. As for the full car charging, it takes 7.5 hours from a household outlet.

Baojun E100 has got a set of electronic options: ABS with electronic brake-power distributor, steering booster, parking sensors as well as Isofix mount for a child seat. The keyless system helps to get in the saloon. The front cabin is supplied by digital dashboard, media center with a 7-inch display, air conditioning and Wi-Fi support.
