FAW Besturn X40 will go on sale in March
The new mid-size crossover Besturn X40 of Chinese company FAW will arrive to the dealers’ showrooms of the largest cities in China in March 2017. Previously, the car has caused an increased interest during its presentation at the Guangzhou Motor Show. According to experts, the machine copies the Japanese Mazda CX5 except the massive grille.
Besturn X40 will be equipped with the 1.6 liters petrol engine producing 116 hp and a maximum torque 155 Nm working in tandem with the 5-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic transmission. In the future hybrid and electric power plants will be available. Dimensions of the vehicle are following: length – 4310 mm, width – 1780 mm, height – 1680 mm, wheelbase size is 2600 mm.
Standard equipment of the car includes an 8-inch touch screen, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control system and other. As for the exterior design, we can note a somewhat narrowed xenon head lights, which is the current trend. According to experts, the shape of the bumpers, hood and roof 90% imitates Mazda.
