GS RUI TENG first SUV in the MG car lineup

GS Rui Teng flagship crossover engineered by MG Car Company is already put on sale in Chinese auto markets. The first representative of the SUV class in the MG model lineup is based on third-generation of SsangYong Korando SUV, while the rear suspension of the novelty is borrowed from the Volkswagen Tiguan SUV, whose serial production has been established in Shanghai in a joint Shanghai-Volkswagen enterprise. Producers themselves called the GS Rui Teng platform SSA.

The new SUV received a memorable harmonious exterior, designed in a modern style. Car enthusiasts will also appreciate such special features as roof rails and chrome bumper elements made in the MG CS corporate style. By the way, during the processes of its creating the car was named GTS, CS, and GS, before the final variant GS Rui Teng was approved.

Spacious interior is ergonomic and it is equipped with modern facilities and high quality materials.
Dimensions of the GS Rui Teng are 4500/1855/1699, the wheelbase is 2650mm.
Motor range consists of two units: 2.0 – liter turbocharged petrol four cylinder engine with 220 hp and 350 Nm of torque paired with a six-speed DCT transmission. The second option is a gasoline 1.5-liter V4 turbo engine with a capacity of 167 hp and 250 Nm of torque paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT. The car is offered in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
