The second generation BID Tang crossover is equipped with a hybrid power plant, borrowed from its predecessor. The 505-hp power plant includes a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 205-hp and 320 Nm output, two electric motors (150-hp and 200 Nm) and a 6-speed robotic DCT. The package also includes four-wheel drive, as well as 18 kW/h rechargeable batteries, which can overcome up to 85 km in electric mode. This technical arsenal gives the car excellent dynamic characteristics; the crossover accelerates in 4.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
