  7. In China anything you wish to do it will happen in just a few years time. In many countries you need to wait a lifetime to to sow the seed and let alone let it grow.

  26. If they can build high quality EVs at an affordable price yes. But they will have to be better then Tesla who have a poor reliability and quality record. The answer with widespread EV adoption lies with companies like Toyota and Mazda not Tesla or Nio.

  35. This report is so wrong it is laughable. While CNBC was consulting their poorly informed taking heads, Chinese battery and EV makers were busy innovating and scaling. Tesla Shanghai now buys batteries from CATL and BYD for domestic and EU export EVs. Yes, you had its wrong. Way wrong.

  42. Nio? I will take a Tesla over all others this year and probably other years. Tesla keeps the consumer in the loop! Love Elon when he is talking about advancements and Love battery day! When watching Elon talk it does not feel like a commercial for Tesla! It seems like a energy company who is keeping us tech heads in the loop because we all care about getting rid of fossil fuels and more advanced tech for our cars and energy use! Lots of videos on YouTube about Tesla and the great things Tesla is doing! I just dont see that on here from other companies!

  43. Bad enough we have to deal with one Tesla, we sure don't need another one. And I'm not saying this based on the cars. Tesla's are good vehicles and superb in terms of tech. But they deserve better than a showman CEO and a bunch of annoying, fanatic fans that worship him and act like Tesla should be worshipped and not seen as a company. Trying to create something like that in another country is just not something that I find desirable. And if I were a car purchaser in China, I'd seriously be more interested in XPeng because I'd have no interest in being part of the "cool culture" of Nio.

  44. For people saying Tesla of China is Tesla and that Tesla is selling 2-3 times more than nio in China, does that justify the Nio stock having a market cap 1/15 of Tesla at the moment? Shouldn’t the market cap of nio be 1/3 of Tesla?
