3. Koreans do the same thing. Many Hyundai models look exactly like Honda and KIA copies a ton of Toyota cars. Hyundai makes me laugh though. They had almost no imagination when designing their logo, they just took a Honda logo and melted it.

8. The issue and syrigma with Chinese made stuff is that it's cheap. Yes,but it doesn't have to be. The reality is that the quality is set by the company. Mm ost of those factories there have the ability to make high quality that rivals anything top tier. Most people don't go to China for that. However, if someone does, you'll get anything that can rival the best of the best for less than half the cost. It still has that Chinese made stigma though. I deal with this with guitars. Those that are savvy know that country of origin has very little to do with quality. Not these days.

10. Ive been looking at getting a new pickup for a while, here in Australia they arent cheap and are super popular. All run on deisel too. China entered the market and had a rocky start, but after the last 5 years, maxe sure to iron out the big issues and match the perfo mance and luxury of brand that are $15k qnd much higher in price. Getting a 2022 LDV T60 MAX after driving it and being blown away. The Japanese brands and Ford should be scared. If they wont drop their prices, they better make their price point worth it.

One thing you got wrong in this video the new MG are actually built in England same as the new BMW mini also in Australia we have been getting Chinese built cars in Australia for years and they are apsolute crap they are not well built infact the great wall vehicles were band in Victoria because the vehicles did not meet there safety standards my son is in the automotive industry and he can tell you about how good or bad a car is and he is driving a Suzuki Jimny around and we just bought a Suzuki beleno

I have a Geely Azkarra 4wd mild hybrid since August 2020 and I cannot complain with the quality and amenities its a superb car and the traffic condition here in the Philippines it is a pure bliss to drive. Truly a Volvo sibling for a very appordable cost, just stick to the maintenance as suggested by the manufacturer and you cannot go wrong.

Problem with Chinese cars is… they make cars but you cannot expect the reliability and resiliency of the Japanese Honda or Toyota..talking about spare parts availability, customer support, warranties,periodic oil change and maintenance .. its a whole different story. its more like use and throw..even most of the Chinese people don’t buy these knock offs..

33. Don't know about that Scotty. All the cheap chinese crap sold here in the states has always been cheap chinese crap. They haven't chosen to step up and make any other products better quality, why would they do that for cars? I'm convinced the main purpose of flooding the US with cheap crap is to conceal and dump all their toxic waste in the components. Why should pet toys have an acceptable radiation level?

Scotty, I have watched a LOT of your videos, and recently about the 5 best suv's, and I really like the Pilot and 4runner, but I have a wonderful 96 explorer that I have had ZERO problems with for 15 years!! Looking at replacing it, and I really want another explorer, somewhere around 2013 area!! I don't think I have ever heard you say anything about Explorers!! Good, Bad???
